At Hillcrest Elementary, we are so excited about the 2021-2022 school year! Here are just a few friendly reminders about the Hillcrest Elementary Car Line.
1. Please be respectful of the neighborhood. Leave driveways open while waiting in car line.
2. The car line map is located in the handbook and on the parent resources tab of this website.
3. Please do not cut in front of others in the line. IF you turn on Northwood, you must go all the way to the end of the line of cars to join car line.
4. Please use your car rider tag.
5. Children must be able to get in on the right side of the car.
6. Kindergarten car line dismissal is from 2:30-2:45 and first and second grade dismissal is from 2:45-3:05.
If you have any questions, please contact the school at 255-0550.

We hope everyone is having a terrific summer! Our schools and district leaders have been working on detailed plans for reopening schools and providing educational services this fall using the Louisiana Department of Education's Guidelines updated on June 23, 2021. Louisiana remains under a Public Health Emergency and is expected to remain in Phase 3 until the end of 2021. Lincoln Parish School Board will work diligently to ensure our students and employees are safe throughout this pandemic.
In order to keep parents and guardians up to date, the Lincoln Parish School Board has developed the Ready to Achieve Plan. Much like the Strong Start Plan implemented last year, this document includes start dates, a link to supply lists, and re-opening guidelines for the 2021-2022 school year. We are so excited to welcome students back to school next month and look forward to having a great year! To view The Ready to Achieve Plan, please follow the link below!

Good afternoon! We look forward to having students back in school tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 3.
If your child is on an A/B schedule, tomorrow, Sept. 3, is “B” day. The schedule for the month of September is attached.
If you are without electricity or internet and unable to attend school or complete assignments, please inform your school. The absence will not count against your child, and make- up work will be permitted once your electricity and internet have been restored. Students will be responsible for making up the work, or grades will be affected. Please remind your child to have a mask in grades 3-12, and social distancing is still required. Calendar Link:
